Occupational Therapy for Kids in Northern Michigan - Petoskey Speech and Smile Therapy Services

Coming Spring 2025 Pediatric occupational therapy (OT) services at Speech and Smile. We work with children and families to plan an effective and engaging therapy program in our boutique therapy room. Our approach is play based with structure built into the session to improve daily/functional life skills. The OT will help the child develop skills necessary for age level jobs such as play, self-care and response to sensory stimulus.  

In planning your child's program, the OT evaluates their needs, assessments, and interests to design therapeutic activities to meet their goals. OT therapy may cover areas ranging from self-care, self-regulation, motor planning, coordination, fine motor skills, and sensory processing.
